Bead Filters

Pond Bead Filters are pressurized filter bodies that have floating filter media designed to provide both mechanical and biological filtration. The beneficial bacteria grow on the filter media to remove ammonia and nitrite while the close impaction of the media grabs the suspended solids from the water as the water flows through the media. They work excellent for both mechanical and biological filtration with the added benefit of being able to be placed above or below the water level as well as close or far away from the pond.
