Koi Pharma® Koi Defender will REDUCE all strains of ulcer causing pathogenic bacteria, such as Aeromonas and Pseudomonas, by starving them out of your pond's ecosystem.

INSTRUCTIONS & TREATMENT DOSAGE RATE
INITIAL DOSAGE
Shake the bottle well before use. Turn off your U.V. light for the first initial 3 treatments ONLY. Add 4 teaspoons (tsp) [20 mL] of Koi Pharma® Koi Defender per 1,000 gallons of water every 3 days for 3 treatments. Then add 4 tsp [20 mL] of Koi Pharma® Koi Defender per 1,000 gallons of water once a week for 2 weeks.
MAINTENANCE DOSAGE
Add 2 tsp [10 mL] per 1,000 gallons of water once a week to maintain proper water quality and healthy fish.
DOSAGE BY WATER TEMPERATURE
50°F - 62°F: Double (2x) Dosage Rate
63°F - 69ºF: 1.5x Dosage Rate
69ºF and Higher: Normal Dosage Rate as listed above
OPTIMAL WATER PARAMETERS
pH: 7 - 9 pH
Total Alkalinity: 80 ppm or higher
Temperature: 50°F and Higher
Do not use in conjunction with any other whole pond treatments.
Koi Defender's powerful formula will NOT harm your biofilter and can be stored at room temperature for 2 years without a decrease in efficacy. This product can be refrigerated for a total of three (3) years for longer term storage.
